Quick answers

The camera isn’t counting my reps
  • Find good light. Avoid a bright window behind you.
  • Step back until your whole body is in the frame, head to feet.
  • Prop your phone up so it stays still, at about hip height.
A blocked app still opens

Picked apps open whenever you have minutes. That’s the deal: they lock again at 0. If they open at 0 minutes, open RepTime › Settings › Screen Time and check that Screen Time is connected and your apps are picked. If you just used the 5-min bypass, the apps stay open for those 5 minutes.

Apps aren’t locking or Screen Time access was turned off

RepTime needs Screen Time permission (Family Controls) to lock the apps you pick. Open RepTime › Settings › Screen Time and tap Connect Screen Time. If iOS doesn’t show the prompt again, use Open Settings on that page to allow it.

Change which apps are blocked

Open RepTime › Settings › Screen Time, choose your apps and websites in Apple’s picker, then tap Save. Cancel keeps your current picks.

“Daily limit reached. Back at midnight.”

That’s the Hard Mode daily cap. Once you’ve used your picked apps for the time you set, they lock until midnight, even with minutes left. Your minutes are kept. Changing the cap is in Settings › Hard Mode; loosening it needs your PIN if you set one.

My steps aren’t adding minutes

Steps count in chunks: every 100 steps adds 1 minute. RepTime needs read access to Steps in Apple Health. In the Health app, tap your profile picture › Apps › RepTime and turn on Steps. Then open RepTime: it catches up with today’s steps when you open it.

Using RepTime on a new iPhone

Install RepTime and tap Restore Purchases (in the app, Settings › Purchases & Data) with the same Apple Account. Then connect Screen Time and pick your apps again. RepTime has no account, so your progress isn’t synced to the cloud.

How much does RepTime cost?

RepTime is free to download, but it needs a purchase to unlock all features. Choose a Yearly subscription for $49.99, a Weekly subscription for $4.99, or a one-time Lifetime purchase for $69.99. Prices are in US dollars and can differ in your country; the App Store shows your price before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically. There is no free trial, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

Restore my purchase

In RepTime, open Settings › Purchases & Data and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

Cancel my subscription

Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name › Subscriptions, choose RepTime and cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews.

Get a refund

Apple handles all refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Reset or delete my data

In RepTime, Settings › Reset Progress erases your minutes, streak, levels, trophies and history. Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your iPhone, and its blocks go with it.

Does RepTime work on iPad or Android?

RepTime is made for iPhone, with iOS 16 or later. There’s no iPad or Android version.
